Licence plate recognition for gates, lots and loading docks
Cameras read every plate that enters or leaves, open the barrier for vehicles you trust, flag the ones you don't, and keep a searchable record of every visit.
Licence Plate Recognition
Licence plate recognition (LPR, also called ANPR) turns your cameras into a vehicle log that runs 24/7. Each plate is read, matched against your allowed and blocked lists, and stored with a snapshot and video clip.
We set up the cameras, lenses and lighting for each lane, so plates are readable in rain, snow, glare and at night, then connect the result to your barriers, access control and alerts.

Frequently asked questions
Does it work at night and in snow?
Yes. We choose cameras with infrared and wide dynamic range and set the angle, lens and shutter for each lane, so plates stay readable at night, in rain and against headlights.
Can I use my existing cameras?
Sometimes. Plate reading needs the right angle, zoom and shutter speed. We'll check your current cameras on the site visit and only replace what's needed.
How fast is the vehicle allowed to move?
For gates and barriers we design for slow approach speeds. For open lanes we size the camera and lens to the expected speed.
